Most Reliable and Problem Free Vehicle
By JJFlorida | on Thursday, August 22, 2019
I have owned this car for 6 years now and have done nothing but change the oil and tires. It is very reliable and problem free. I love it and will keep it as long as it drives me from A to B with no issues.....… - 4.0
Bought new, family hauler!
By jmhuf | on Tuesday, July 02, 2019
I bought this car new as a dealer leftover in January 2011. It has been virtually trouble free from day one. I do keep up on scheduled maintenance, and aside from 3 new sets of tires It has been a real champ. In the upper plain states we get a lot of snow and the extreme light weight of the Cube does not lend well for great traction in the snow. However it has a great heater and AC and with Automatic climate control it's always comfy inside. It's boxy shape and side swing door has allowed me to haul a new dishwasher, furniture, 8 foot 2 x 4's and an array of countless items that would never have fit in a regular trunk. Engine is a bit noisy, wind noise above 45 MPH is noticeable and the gas mileage is nearly identical on the highway as in the city although it does drop significantly in real cold weather. However I can't say enough about just how rock solid of a car this has been.… - 5.0
Best purchase ever
By Heebie Geebies | on Monday, May 24, 2021
Honestly when I went to the dealership that fateful day 6 years ago, the salesman kept pushing this car on me as it was in my price range. I was hesitant because it looked small and odd, and I looked at every other available vehicle on the lot before finally giving in and test driving it. I knew it was the one as soon as I sat down. I'm almost 6 ft and I am so comfortable in the driver's seat, with plenty of head and leg room. The quirkiness of the spiral theme is soothing and flows well. The fold down back seats are so convenient and easy to use and I've moved a 3 bedroom house (minus couch and other ridiculously large furniture) easily in a few trips. It's incredibly animal friendly as well with easy to clean seats that don't tear or scuff with animal nails. This car has been all over the country on many adventures and in the 6yrs I've had it, I've put many many miles on her but she's still kicking good. I've kept up with the routine and recommended services and the only problem I've had has been with the key fob not starting the vehicle even with a new battery. A quick Google search showed me the trick to bypass that and I've since gotten the issue fixed (cheap fix too!) Handles great and great gas mileage even on highways. I love the quirky things that people have done to spice up the car such as underlights and adding funny "ice" logos or stickers. Once you're in one, you notice how many there truly are out there! I absolutely love this car and have named her "Bessie Lou the Shuttle Cube".…
